Yolanda Becker

When she was just 8 years old, Yolanda picked up the bow of a violin... and the rest is history. Since then her passion for sound moved her to receive her bachelors in Music Education from the University of New Hampshire in 2005.  It was there that Strings For All Occasions officially formed.

Yolanda is always searching out new music, both classical and mainstream, and weaving it into her everyday life. She is never without a tune in her head, and playlist for the long drive home. She enjoys rehearsing classical solos and piano sonatas with Lynne Wilby, an accomplished pianist. One of her recent works with Lynne was Andante Cantabile from Tchaikovsky's String Quartet no. 1 in D Major op.11.

Her happy place is performing covers and originals at coffeehouses and restaurants with her loop pedal, violin and guitar.
